Job summary

NV5 is seeking Senior Field Technicians for our Bakersfield, CA office. You will perform soil inspection and testing, reinforced concrete and masonry inspections, spray applied fireproofing, and structural steel welding inspections or NDT in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications include ACI Level I Field Technician, ICC/Caltrans certifications, AWS CWI or equivalent, and experience with DSA Masonry or related certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Certifications required or highly preferred for inspection and testing roles.
• Experience in soil inspection, reinforced concrete, masonry, spray fireproofing, or NDT is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil inspection and testing.
• Inspect reinforced concrete, masonry, and spray applied fireproofing.
• Conduct structural steel welding inspections or non-destructive testing.

Responsibilities

NV5's Bakersfield, CA office is seeking Senior Field Technicians with experience in one or more of the following:

• soil inspection and testing
• reinforced concrete
• masonry
• spray applied fireproofing
• structural steel/welding inspection or non-destructive testing

Qualifications

Candidates should have one or more of the following:

• ACI Level I Field Technician, ICC reinforced concrete, AWS CWI, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Fireproofing, ICC Structural Steel Bolting or Welding, certified welding inspector or NDT (ultrasonic, magnetic-particle or liquid penetrant).
• DSA Structural Masonry Inspectors are highly sought
• Caltrans Certifications through JTCP and Field Certifications.

Our office is located in Bakersfield, CA and we offer services throughout Kern, Visalia, and Kings counties and sometimes farther afield.

Compensation

The pay range for this California position is $20.00- $35.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162. Base pay information is based on market location.
