Alliance Laundry Systems LLC in Ripon, WI is seeking a Senior Field Systems Engineer to diagnose and resolve complex, high‑impact issues on laundry machines at customer sites worldwide.

You will travel domestically and internationally with a rapid‑response team of electrical and firmware engineers, capturing debug data, deploying diagnostic firmware, and guiding production firmware patches from lab to field.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years embedded systems/firmware development experience.
• Hands-on debugging of production embedded systems in C on microcontrollers.
• Experience monitoring and analyzing communications between edge devices and IoT gateways/clouds.
• Field service, field engineering, or customer-site troubleshooting preferred.
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS) or bare‑metal architectures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex, high-priority firmware issues on laundry machines at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot inter‑device communication and data integrity between edge machines, IoT gateways and cloud.
• Capture field debug data and deploy specialized diagnostic firmware builds.
• Reproduce field issues in a Ripon, WI lab and coordinate with firmware teams for patches.
• Document root causes and resolution steps for internal and customer stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to customer sites and facilities.
