Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Surveyor for full-time, direct employment in the Milton, DE area. The role focuses on supervising Survey & Survey Mapping projects, preparing legal descriptions, conducting boundary and ALTA surveys, and coordinating field teams.

The candidate will also engage with clients and contribute to business development while occasionally working in the field. Required are 6+ years in field/land surveying and a high school diploma; DE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of professional Field/Land Surveying experience.
• DE surveying credentials preferred (PLS/Surveying Intern).
• Experience with modern survey methods and technologies.
• Good communication and leadership in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision/management of Survey & Survey Mapping projects.
• Prepare legal/easement descriptions and survey estimates.
• Conduct boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveys.
• Prepare plans and construction layouts.
• Schedule field crews to meet deadlines.
• Develop strategies to expand the department within the market area.
• Maintain public and client relationships.
• Work in the field as needed.
• Handle additional tasks as required.
