Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Surveyor to contribute to diverse projects in the Milton, DE area on a full-time, direct-basis role. The position emphasizes office-based survey production, data processing, QC, and coordination with project managers and field crews.

The Senior Survey Technician will lead QA/QC on deliverables, mentor junior staff, and help ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures. Strong CAD and field experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of surveying experience.
• Proficient in field and office surveying tasks.
• Experience with Leica Infinity and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Process and adjust survey field data to generate surfaces and alignments.
• Perform QA/QC on calculations, linework, and deliverables.
• Establish office production standards and QA/QC checklists.
• Lead internal reviews of survey deliverables prior to submission.
• Coordinate with PMs and crews to confirm scope and data needs.
• Prepare survey drawings, plats, exhibits, and reports.
• Maintain organized project files and metadata.
• Support project planning by estimating processing effort.
