Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Formal training in Land Surveying or related field.
• Experience in field-based roles with physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with modern survey methods and technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate surveying instruments (prisms, total stations, GPS, auto-levels).
• Record survey measurements with notes, drawings, and data files.
• Use rods for bench loops and cross-section elevations.
• Position targets to measure angles and elevations.
• Search for, stake, and recover sectional & property corners.
• Perform manual labor as needed (clearing lines, carrying materials).
• Conduct construction staking activities.
• Contribute to team projects and adapt to changing tasks.
