The New Mexico Department of Transportation seeks a Senior Engineering Technician Underfill in Las Cruces or Santa Fe to support the Survey & Lands Engineering Division in planning, coordinating, and directing field and mapping work.

Ideal candidates will have experience in control surveying, GIS data handling, and proficiency with Trimble GPS/Trimble Business Center. This position involves fieldwork and data processing across highway projects.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent with two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in control surveying and mapping is preferable.
• Familiarity with GPS and conventional surveying methods is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Establish controlled survey by measuring project control with GPS or conventional surveying equipment.
• Utilize maps, plans, GIS data to perform survey calculations in the field/office.
• Plan and perform field work for various types of surveys.
• Process field notes and project deliverables using CAD and related software.
• Ensure controlled survey data integrity for surveying and mapping projects.
