Job summary

OHM Advisors in Michigan is seeking a Senior Survey Technician to lead field survey operations across transportation, municipal, and development projects. You will supervise survey crews, coordinate daily field activities, and ensure accurate data collection, processing, and documentation while keeping projects on schedule.

You will work closely with Professional Surveyors, apply Carlson, Civil3D, and MicroStation ORD tools, and mentor teammates in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of land surveying experience.
• Must have a valid and current driver’s license.
• Experience with Carlson, Civil3D, and MicroStation ORD preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead survey projects with scope, schedule, and resources.
• Oversee survey crews and field operations; ensure accurate data collection.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with clients and project teams; support field to office workflow.
