Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead the survey team across field and office work, utilizing topographic, construction, and boundary surveying techniques. You will manage project plans, schedules, and budgets while mentoring crew members and ensuring QA/QC compliance.

The role requires a strong math background, experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation V8, GEOPAK, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with all surveying equipment/procedures.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Professional Surveyors to set project plan, budgets, staffing, and schedule.
• Direct Survey Crew, assign tasks, review calculations and notes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health plans and PPE.
• Provide technical expertise in topographic, construction, and boundary surveying.
• Lead field crews, train and mentor lower-level crew chiefs.
