Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Survey Technician to support our Field Services Survey Team in Michigan. You will assist with surveying roads, building sites, bridges, and environmental locations, under the direction of a professional surveyor.

You should be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable traveling for remote project assignments. A High School Diploma and 2–5 years of hands-on surveying experience are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years hands-on surveying experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, inspect, and maintain surveying equipment daily.
• Notify supervisor of issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns.
• Assist with field operations to ensure accurate data collection.
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and the public.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and professional standards.
• Represent OHM Advisors professionally with clients and contractors.
• Occasionally travel overnight for remote project assignments.
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; 2–5 years surveying experience.
