Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in Surveying, Geospatial, or closely related discipline preferred.
• 5 years of surveying experience including topographic and boundary surveys, right-of-way, easements, and property descriptions.
• Valid Driver’s License without restrictions.
• Familiar with land survey principles, codes, and record-keeping requirements.
• Proficiency with Trimble survey equipment (GPS, Data collector, Total Station, Level).

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, researching, and analyzing data from property/utility records and deeds.
• Use survey instruments to perform boundary, topographic, existing condition, and other surveys.
• Prepare documentation of survey findings using photos, sketches, calculations, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, technicians, and project admins on survey tasks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and KLJ policies; stay current in surveying practices.
