Qualifications

• 2-year or 4-year degree in Land Surveying, or ability to obtain the degree within 2 years of hire.
• 3+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Hard-working, self-motivated, energetic with strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in using conventional survey equipment, robotic total stations, and Trimble RTK GPS systems.
• Coordinate and provide land surveying services for multiple projects, including fieldwork and computations.
• Perform topographic and boundary surveys and prepare plats, replats, certificates of survey, and ALTA surveys.
• Write and understand legal descriptions and perform construction staking for site development, highways, utilities, and related projects.
• Provide direction and leadership for multiple survey crews and ensure quality control and QA/QC.
