Job summary

RISE seeks a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple ground-up multifamily projects from Jacksonville, FL. The role ensures on-schedule, on-budget delivery with a strong safety and quality program and meaningful field presence.

Reporting to the VP of Construction, this position oversees a team of superintendents, develops leadership, and identifies portfolio-level risks while coordinating with project management to optimize manpower, scheduling, and logistics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive field supervision experience in ground-up multifamily construction.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects, project superintendents, or a portfolio-level field organization.
• OSHA 30 certification and valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with project-management tools and field-reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce consistent field operating standards across all active projects.
• Direct intervention on projects not meeting expectations with measurable recovery plans.
• Lead selection, onboarding, and development of field leaders and succession planning.
• Own portfolio-wide schedule performance and ensure realistic, current schedules.
• Drive safety programs, audits, and corrective actions across the portfolio.
• Provide senior field input during preconstruction, estimating, and design development.
