Job summary

UrbanCore Construction seeks a Lead Superintendent for multifamily construction. You will own the field, lead an Assistant Superintendent and trade partners, and turn the plan into predictable production through disciplined leadership and clear expectations.

From preconstruction turnover through final closeout, you drive the schedule, safety culture, quality of what gets installed, and the standard for every trade. You’ll thrive with calm, organized leadership and proactive planning.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Plan knowledge and navigation.
• Experience maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Knowledgeable on safety standards to maintain project safety.
• Experience with site management and leading projects.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and train team members and trade partners.
• Experience creating look-ahead schedules and closeouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, Manage & Hold Accountable: set clear expectations, mentor your team, address issues, hold trade partners to safety, quality, and schedule.
• Project Startup & Planning: own startup activities, build milestone schedule, conduct constructability reviews, lead precons and integrate requirements.
• Safety & Compliance: own safety standards, daily site walks, audit-ready documentation, OSHA readiness.
• Production Planning & Operational Excellence: build and maintain the schedule with the team, drive takt planning and daily huddles.
• Quality Control & Inspections: walk with purpose, perform first walks, own inspections, permits, and closeouts.
