Job summary

Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture seeks a seasoned Superintendent to join the Newark Air Train project at Newark International Airport in Newark, NJ. You will report to the Project Executive and lead on-site construction, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance.

The role requires extensive experience with heavy civil infrastructure, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of construction methods.

Qualifications

• 20 years of supervisory field experience with large heavy civil infrastructure construction projects valued at 200 million plus.
• Minimum of 10 years construction superintendent and/or craft supervision experience in new building and/or structure construction including piles, concrete and structural steel.
• Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).
• Ensure compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, materials/equipment use, and project schedule.
• Provide technical assistance, e.g., interpretation of drawings and construction methods.
• Assist project management in developing project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures.
• Support Site Specific Safety Plan and coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
