Job summary

A construction firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent II to oversee multiple projects, including highway and night paving operations. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of relevant construction experience and demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring safety and quality, and mentoring team members. This is a full-time position based in Palmer, Alaska, requiring some regional travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant construction experience, including highway, DOT, and/or night paving projects.
• Demonstrated success as a Superintendent or in a comparable field leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting project specs and plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multiple job sites including complex work.
• Manage Job Production Plans (JPPs) and ensure project oversight.
• Foster a strong safety culture and mentor foremen and crew leaders.
