Job summary

Mainframe Solutions in Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead roadway, bridge, drainage, and underground utility projects across the Greater Houston area. This hands-on field leadership role manages crews, coordinates resources, and drives safety, schedule, and budget performance.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years in heavy civil construction, with TxDOT or public project experience, and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of heavy civil construction experience with field supervision.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Experience with TxDOT, municipalities, counties, or other public projects.
• Ability to read civil drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for roadway, bridge, drainage, and related projects in Houston.
• Supervise foremen, operators, crews, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for production.
• Manage schedules, sequencing, and resolve field challenges.
• Monitor production quantities, labor productivity, costs for profitability.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, inspectors, and owners to align with plans.
• Maintain safety and quality compliance with TxDOT and regulations.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Mentor foremen and promote accountability and efficiency.
