Job summary

Clayco in Indianapolis leads complex data center and mission-critical projects with a hands-on field operations focus. This role oversees on-site construction activities, safety plans, subcontractor coordination, and daily reporting to ensure schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 20–25 years of construction experience, a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, OSHA 30, and a proven track record managing large-scale field teams and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 20–25 years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility and technical knowledge.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis area; field coordination with client teams.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct all on-site construction activities and serve as primary contact for field operations.
• Ensure work aligns with design, specifications, schedules, and budget.
• Manage site subcontractors, field engineering, contracts, procurement, and reports.
• Develop and implement safety, environmental, and labor plans and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with project management and client relations to maintain schedule and quality.
• Oversee QA/QC and maintain detailed daily field reports.
