Job summary

Cherry Coatings in Manassas, VA is seeking a Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial paint crews on-site, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and per contract specifications, while maintaining Cherry's quality and safety standards.

You will direct field operations, mentor foremen, manage materials and daily tickets, coordinate with clients and project teams, and ensure crews follow safety protocols; travel up to 80% with possible overtime and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and English reading/writing is MUST.
• Prior experience in commercial paint environments.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Hands-on leadership in the field with strong communication.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and email.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% to job sites, with overtime/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and minimize job site issues before escalation.
• Train Foreman on time corrections and disciplinary actions.
• Report issues to Operations or Project Manager promptly.
• Prepare and manage work tickets, receipts, and field documentation.
• Coordinate supplemental material needs and reduce unnecessary trips.
• Ensure crews follow safety guidelines and company quality standards.
• Develop client relationships and manage expectations on-site.
