Job summary

Benchmark Construction Company in Pennsylvania is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field projects across our Lancaster, PA and Ellicott City, MD operations. You will drive projects to completion with safety and quality at the forefront, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and site logistics to keep schedules on track.

You bring 5+ years of leadership on commercial builds, a solid apprenticeship or technical education, and fluency in English. Procore experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Strong foundation from a vocational school, technical college, or a formal apprenticeship program.
• You own architectural, structural, and site blueprints and can interpret shop drawings.
• Fluent in English; capable of understanding complex verbal or written instructions.
• Experience with project management software; Procore is a bonus.
• Reliable transportation and readiness to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to completion with precision, speed, and high standards while prioritizing safety.
• Coordinate teams of Benchmark employees and subcontractors to keep field ops on schedule.
• Mentor the next generation of construction leaders through knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain schedules and adapt to changes.
• Learn and execute on financial goals, scheduling, and logistics; ensure delivery.
• Build strong client and vendor relationships with professionalism and fairness.
• Pursue continuous improvement through training and industry trends.
