STRATA in Salt Lake City (Sandy), UT seeks a Field Services Manager to lead field teams on geotechnical projects, coordinate with labs and managers, and ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery of field and lab work. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and strong client interface.

The candidate will oversee training for WAQTC/ACI, track certifications, and uphold STRATA’s Quality Management System while supporting business development and project proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction materials testing or special inspection.
• Proven leadership in a technical role delivering quality deliverables.
• Thorough knowledge of ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, ASNT, ICBO, AWS, NICET, etc.
• Up-to-date WAQTC, IQP, ACI and ICC certifications.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and coach technical staff on daily field/ lab execution.
• Coordinate with lab, Project/Business Managers to support proposals and budgets.
• Interface with clients to review deliverables and secure repeat work.
• Develop and lead trainings for certifications and professional development.
• Maintain safety plans, PPE usage, and equipment calibration.
