STRATA in Salt Lake City (Sandy), Utah seeks an entry level to fully experienced Construction Field Professional (Materials Testing Technician) to perform field testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt, with focus on accurate

Qualifikationen

• Over 1 year of experience in construction materials testing.
• Two or more of the listed certifications are required:Soil and asphalt in-place density training, Concrete testing, SRDTT or WAQTC certifications.

• Assist senior technicians and inspectors with complex tasks.

Our professionals work closely with contractors, architects, and engineers to support quality and compliance on a wide range of projects.

We're currently seeking an entry level to fully experienced Construction Field Professional (Materials Testing Technician) to join our team in Salt Lake City (Sandy), Utah.

About the Role

As a Construction Field Professional for STRATA, you'll perform field testing and observations of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. Your accurate testing, timely reporting, and clear communication will directly support project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field observation and materials testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt
• Test in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Assist senior technicians and inspectors with complex tasks
• Maintain and calibrate field and laboratory equipment
• Report results promptly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members
• Operate company vehicles responsibly and maintain their condition
• Travel out of town and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have over 1 year of experience in construction materials testing and two or more of the following certifications:

• Soil and asphalt in-place density training (such as APNGA certifications)
• Concrete testing (ACI certifications)
• Sampling and testing of aggregate, embankment, and asphalt: UDOT Sampling, Reduction, and Density Testing Technician (SRDTT) qualification and/or additional WAQTC certifications
