Job summary

Hyundai Ideal Electric Co. is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician for a remote position, performing service, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on very large high-power electric motors and generators during field visits across the U.S. and internationally.

You will represent IDEAL, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver world-class customer service while traveling to customer sites. The role requires safety, quality training, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of related field service experience on large rotating equipment.
• Experience working with customers and vendors in B2B environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance on large motors and generators in field.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support customers and projects.
• Collaborate with After Market Services Manager to plan service trips and document work.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company policies and ITAR/EAR requirements.
