Job summary

The Senior Field Service Technician at Zutat Feed Solutions, LLC oversees the reliable operation, commissioning, and field support of our equipment and systems. This role combines advanced PLC and electrical troubleshooting with hydraulic and mechanical capability.

The technician responds to customer emergencies, makes controlled program and equipment changes, returns systems to safe service, and communicates clearly with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong PLC/electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Read schematics and use tools to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose PLC, HMI, sensor, network, and motor-control problems.
• Modify, test, back up, and document PLC programs and control logic.
• Provide field service and emergency response, both remotely and on-site.
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical service, read schematics, and complete repairs.
• Maintain parts and inventory on the service truck and support continuous improvement.
