Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician IV (Deployable) in Clovis, NM to perform high-level maintenance and repair on advanced aerospace and defense systems.

The role requires leadership, training program development, and travel with international assignments. A current DoD security clearance is required; the candidate must be willing to deploy OCONUS for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
• Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Advanced troubleshooting techniques and electrical wiring skills.
• Willing to deploy/conduct extended OCONUS rotations and travel frequently.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute top-tier maintenance and repair tasks on advanced aerospace and defense systems.
• Independently manage and oversee complex field service projects.
• Diagnose and resolve the most complex and challenging technical issues.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the field service team.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain precise and detailed records of field activities and equipment status.
