Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician – Air Handlers to perform field start-up, commissioning, and service on CRAH/CAHU units across the United States.

The role requires strong knowledge of EC fan arrays, control interfaces, BMS integration, and safety-first field work. You will work independently at customer sites, with travel between two-to-three week field schedules, and opportunities to mentor junior technicians while advancing your technical depth in

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on HVAC field service, start-up or commissioning experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting EC fans, HVAC controllers, sensors, and BMS-connected equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control sequences, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform delivery inspections of air-side equipment and document condition with notes and photos.
• Verify readiness before start-up: clearances, filters, connections, condensate arrangements.
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and air-side issues; coordinate corrective actions with site teams.
• Commission air-handler controls integration with BMS and verify network connectivity.
• Record calibration results and validate airflow, static pressure, and fan performance.
• Communicate status, risks, and next steps to customers and project teams.
