Job summary

Colliers provides expert service to Chick-fil-A restaurants through a premier support network. The technician will independently diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen and building systems, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and downtime reduction.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in HVAC/refrigeration, EPA certification, and the ability to read schematics. Travel is local, with on-site work and limited overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical trade school training and/or relevant hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of related trade experience.
• EPA Universal Certification and valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics; proficiency with MS Word/Excel and mobile service apps.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipment.
• Service commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration systems, and base building HVAC systems.
• Respond to Operator service requests within established service level agreements.
• Service equipment including various brands (HVAC, dishwashers, etc.).
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnosis support and parts identification.
• Consult with Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team while onsite.
• Install ordered parts accurately and professionally.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation including work orders, time reporting, receipts, and inventory.
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Support on-call emergency response during non-standard hours.
• Follow safe work practices and safety procedures.
• Participate in OEM training and certification programs.
• Engage with equipment partners, suppliers, and vendors; maintain productivity.
