Job summary

Ring Power Corporation seeks an experienced technician to repair and replace defective parts on heavy equipment, disassemble/clean components, and test systems to diagnose and fix failures. You will prepare repair estimates, requisitions, and service reports, ensuring accuracy for accounting and quotes.

Maintain essential tools, stay current with industry changes, and assist in cost management while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 7+ years of experience in the field.
• Must possess a valid Class E Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery/equipment.
• Disassembles components and cleans parts.
• Inspects components to maximize reuse and control repair costs.
• Tests, diagnoses and adjusts equipment failures.
• Creates repair estimates and submits quotes.
• Prepares parts requisitions, time cards, or service reports with detail.
• Monitors expenses and notifies lead on cost overruns.
• Assumes lead role temporarily as needed.
• Uses dealer computer systems for work orders and documentation.
• Maintains a minimum set of tools and keeps work area safe and organized.
