Job summary

Motion is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform on-site repair, maintenance, and installation of hydraulic and related equipment at customer sites in Marion, IL. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide technical training to customers while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a technical degree and five or more years of field experience, with the ability to lead small projects and work on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Diagnoses problems with equipment, assesses the extent of the problem, documents findings, and decides on repair or replacement of parts.
• Provides technical support and training to customers on operation or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
• Leads small to moderate projects at customer sites and communicates with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
