Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician in Marion, IL to perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and installations for hydraulics and related systems. You will diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and up to three years of experience, good driving record, ability to read hydraulic schematics, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site role with 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required; 0–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site services, including diagnostics, repair, maintenance and upgrades.
• Install, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer sites; provide support and training as needed.
• Work under supervision to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
