Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to service mechanical and electrical systems across customer sites in Massachusetts. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and HVAC components while ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of hands-on field experience, a valid driver's license, and a proven ability to communicate technical findings clearly.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on technical experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, including diesel and hydraulic systems.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems in novel or unexpected situations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installations, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs for mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and HVAC components.
• Maintain a culture of safety by identifying and mitigating potential hazards on both company and customer-owned assets.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to clients, translating complex data into actionable insights and solutions.
• Operate independently in the field while maintaining accurate records via smart devices and digital reporting tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence.
