WMH is seeking a Senior Mechanic/Technician to join our team. You’ll ensure peak performance through diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on advanced equipment, while leading by example, mentoring technicians, and optimizing operations.

Your Mission? To drive operational excellence by delivering diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance that maximize uptime, while leading and developing a team of skilled technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independence & Field Expertise: Service customers on-site using a company vehicle with advanced tools.
• Own Your Territory: Maintain forklifts, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment.
• Be the Expert in the Field: Provide fast, accurate, professional on-site service.

Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs:

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues.
• Execute repairs and preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Maintain equipment through scheduled inspections and safety checks.

Lead & Mentor:

• Train and develop junior technicians.
• Set service standards and help others improve their skills.

Customer Engagement & Service:

• Provide expert consultation and technical solutions.
• Maintain clear communication about services and repairs.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Keep accurate service records and work orders.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety regulations.

The Field:

• Work at diverse job sites, in various weather conditions, embracing dust and noise.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in different environments, and travel within your territory. Vision must include close, distant, peripheral, and depth perception.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a mechanic/technician in relevant industries.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems.
• ASE Certification preferred; forklift certification a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience with diagnostic software and fleet management systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
