Job summary

Dover Precision Components (DPC), a Dover Company, is seeking a Field Service Support Lead for our FW Murphy Production Controls division in Rosenberg, TX. This senior role focuses on advanced technical support for control panels, PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems, while mentoring field service staff and coordinating service activities.

You will serve as a technical escalation resource, support commissioning and diagnostics, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to deliver

Qualifications

• This role requires a technical degree and extensive field service experience in controls environments.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Experience aligning engineering, sales, operations, and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for control panels, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, electrical systems, and automation technologies.
• Serve as the technical escalation resource for complex customer and field issues.
• Support startup, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and field issue resolution both remotely and on-site.
• Mentor Field Service Technicians and Support Engineers with guidance and best practices.
• Coordinate field service schedules and service activities to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, documentation, and project status.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Travel to customer sites up to 35% and provide after-hours support as needed.
