This role requires a 5+ year track record in semiconductor equipment service, a related engineering degree, strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, clear communication of risks, and a willingness to travel nationwide to customer sites.

Qualifications

• A.S. or B.S. in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
• 5+ years semiconductor equipment service experience.
• Strong diagnostic capability with documented, systematic troubleshooting approach.
• Ability to communicate technical risks and solutions confidently.
• Independent decision-making with disciplined escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured preventive and corrective maintenance execution.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues using a systematic troubleshooting methodology.
• Identify recurring issues and drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
• Serve as primary customer technical liaison, communicating risks, status, and mitigation plans.
• Act as site-level escalation resource for advanced technical challenges.
• Coordinate with global engineering and factory resources as needed.
• Mentor early-career engineers and technicians, supporting upskill development.
• Contribute to documentation improvements and knowledge capture efforts.
• Support installation and removal activities as required.
