Job summary

Prosource is seeking a technically skilled field service technician to represent the company with professionalism during installations and routine service calls. You will handle hardware/software support, schedule timely service, and troubleshoot printing and networking issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes ongoing training on all products, maintenance of service literature, and leading efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Computer Technology or related technical field.
• 7+ years experience related to technical/repair of business equipment.
• Industry-related certifications preferred (Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Sharp, HP).
• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Certificates/Registrations including Emperon Connectivity Course and Expert courses.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service calls in a timely fashion per contractual commitments.
• Provide break-fix support and perform networking installations to meet customer commitments.
• Troubleshoot basic printing issues and identify printer vs. network problems.
• Set up scanning features and install equipment in a peer-to-peer environment.
• Maintain toolkit, supplies, and accurate inventory for the territory.
• Provide sales support by advising on problems as service leads.
