Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Senior Field Service Representative to join our Reno, NV team. The role offers relocation assistance, a company car, and guaranteed 40-hour paid week as part of a broad service portfolio.

The position involves supporting customers through the power system lifecycle, leading smaller projects, and mentoring junior technicians while leveraging digital tools for remote work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher with 3 years of experience testing, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems.
• Alternative: completion of accredited trade school with 7+ years of relevant experience in electrical distribution or control systems.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to drive a company vehicle.
• Relocation assistance available for candidates residing outside a 50 mile radius of Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies.
• Manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger projects.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
• Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
