Job summary

RMS Energy is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting across LV–HV systems at power plants, substations, and industrial sites in the United States.

You will mentor junior technicians, supervise field crews, and coordinate with customers while maintaining strict safety standards and compliance. Strong electrical knowledge and field leadership are essential for this senior role.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on power industry experience.
• Substation and HV equipment knowledge.
• Experience leading crews and mentoring technicians.
• Familiar with OSHA, NETA standards, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, commissioning, and maintenance on LV–600kV equipment.
• Develop test plans and execute commissioning procedures.
• Supervise field crews and ensure safety and compliance.
• Interface with customers to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Document results using Power DB and other platforms.
• Support emergency response and startup/shutdown projects.
