Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to provide expert calibration, metrology, and qualification support across laboratory instrumentation in biomedical environments. You will mentor field staff and drive regulatory-compliant maintenance programs.

The role emphasizes metrological traceability, measurement uncertainty, and proactive problem solving, including ISO/IEC 17025 awareness and GDP practices. Requires travel and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in calibration/metrology, laboratory instrumentation, or technical service environments.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in calibration, metrology, qualification and repair of laboratory instrumentation.
• Mentor and train field service personnel; act as primary escalation point for complex issues.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ activities and regulatory compliance across multiple industries.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, calibration methodologies, and test protocols.
