Job summary

Corporate Technologies seeks a Field Service Engineer to join our in-person Cedar Falls team. You will independently manage complex customer environments, lead escalations, and serve as a technical authority for systems, networks, and infrastructure.

You will mentor technicians, drive process improvements, and act as a trusted advisor to clients while supporting Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure, Intune, and AD. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Managed Services experience required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in an IT-related field.
• Advanced system administration and networking experience.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent experience.
• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, APIs).
• Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred).
• Vendor certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex or critical issues, leading advanced troubleshooting and resolution of server, network, security, and infrastructure problems.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT solutions for client environments (servers, workstations, networks, cloud services) aligned with business needs.
• Provide expert support for Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure, Intune, and Active Directory; perform advanced server administration including planning, deployment, upgrades, and migrations.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend long-term corrective actions and architectural improvements.
• Mentor Field Service Technicians through technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
• Document all work with thorough detail, including root cause analysis and resolution specifics.
• Contribute to development and improvement of technical standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide leadership during after-hours or critical support events.
• Demonstrate job flexibility and perform other duties as assigned to support client priorities.
• Must have a current and active Driver's License
