Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer for the C-130J program at a customer operating site in Hawaii. The role focuses on airframe, mechanical, and propulsion subsystems, requiring deep technical expertise and hands-on problem solving to diagnose, modify, inspect, and optimize installed systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years of C-130J experience as airframe/mechanical/propulsion systems specialist.
• Aircraft subsystems maintenance and repair on flight lines or support shops.
• Ability to read and apply aircraft technical orders, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote postsales support for C-130J aircraft at customer sites.
• Lead investigations of maintenance problems and propose improvements.
• Deliver clear oral and written technical briefings and reports to customers.
• Advise on equipment installation, calibration, checks, and use of specialty tools and test equipment.
