The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for c onducts service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory.

You will be a part of the Service Team and report to the Supervisor responsible for c onducts service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Resolve complex instrument issues to provide accurate reports for patients.
• Perform proper maintenance on instruments to provide customers with best user experience.
• Properly install instruments to provide customers with the best equipment usage experience .

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Related to Biomedical Engineering , Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Medical Technology and Laboratory Science.
• Over 2 years of experience.
• Proficient in “Microsoft Excel”, “Microsoft Word”, “Microsoft PowerPoint”.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – list specifics 10 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations .
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record .

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• TOEIC score of 500 or above or equivalent language proficiency certification.
