Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Field Service Technician III for its Specialized Field Services team. You will perform testing, maintenance, and repair of low and medium voltage equipment in shop and field environments.

This role requires 3–5 years of experience with high voltage systems, the ability to work indoors and outdoors, and travel 30–50% overnight. A valid driver's license and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Switchgear/High Voltage Technician.
• Proficiency with high voltage test equipment and knowledge of low/medium voltage test equipment.
• Able to read and follow written or oral instructions and solve problems with several variables.
• Able to read English and communicate effectively.
• Able to perform field work indoors and outdoors.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• NETA 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing for relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment and related switchgear in the field.
• Perform mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including tear down and refurbishment.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians in testing/maintenance/repair activities.
• Prepare and document site projects.
• Wiring circuit breakers and reading schematics.
