Job summary

Makino is seeking a CNC Technician Level 2 or Senior to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment across the United States. The role supports customer machine tool operations and reports to the Regional Customer Support Manager, with assignments nationwide.

Travel is required; technicians are dispatched from home to customer locations and a company vehicle is provided with gas and travel expenses covered. Strong mechanical and electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing, installing, troubleshooting Makino CNC tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with software tools; comfortable using a laptop, phone and apps.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls.
• Research and resolve machine issues using manuals and vendor resources.
• Document machine status, repairs, and installations for Makino and customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and provide after-sales technical support and training.
• Maintain understanding of machine tool industry and Makino product lines.
