Job Description

The Senior Field Sales Executive is a quota-carrying team member responsible for selling a set of CS offerings to customer stakeholders within their book of accounts. Assigned to a specific set of accounts, the Senior Field Sales Executive will drive new sales at new customers as well as cross-sell opportunities at existing customers. The role involves working directly with customers to understand their needs, identify relevant CS products, communicate their value, and facilitate all activities to close deals (pricing, quotes, contracts, etc.). The Senior Field Sales Executive will collaborate with Technical Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Support to identify, pursue, and close deals. They are accountable for achieving quotas, following processes, and maintaining customer relationships.

REMOTE: This is a USA - Remote role reporting to the Director, Financial Services Sales, and working under the Vice President, Financial Services. Part of BU – FCC | CS | Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Inc.

Required Job Qualifications (minimum):
  • Travel requirement approximately 20%.
  • 7+ years of direct B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience selling into the Financial Services industry.
  • Industry contacts and experience in the specialty lending industry.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com as CRM.
  • Strong relationship-building interpersonal skills.
  • Experience cross-selling across platforms with support from sales teams.
  • Consultative selling approach to recommend products.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex purchase processes.
  • Drive, perseverance, and outbound sales activity.
  • Effective communication in face-to-face and virtual environments with senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of lead-to-order processes within lending or compliance industries.
  • Team collaboration with Technical Sales, Customer Success, Sales Support, Finance, Legal.
  • Quick learner of new CS offerings.
  • Goal-oriented with organizational skills to manage multiple accounts.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Knowledge of financial services or specialty lending workflows.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or specialized product environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop account understanding and plans.
  • Manage relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Apply product knowledge to meet customer needs, collaborate with Technical Sales.
  • Prioritize and respond to inbound leads and customer requests.
  • Use SFDC data to identify and pursue opportunities, support renewals/up-sells.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline.
  • Articulate value propositions and collaborate with product managers or Technical Sales.
  • Follow sales methodology to configure, price, quote, negotiate, and close.
  • Meet individual quotas.
  • Contribute customer insights for product development.
  • Work with internal teams to close opportunities and serve accounts.
  • Assist with escalated customer issues as needed.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and associations.
