Job summary

Alterman Management Group, Inc is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to lead safety execution on electrical construction sites. The role directs Safety Coordinators, coaches leadership, and ensures pre-task planning, JHA, and PSI compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining field presence, enforcing stopping work when hazards arise, coordinating with supervision, and delivering toolbox talks. OSHA standards knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 510, CHST, CSHO, NCCER or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of safety execution with Safety Coordinators on project sites.
• Maintain a constant field presence to verify controls and promote safe execution.
• Verify pre-task planning quality and hazard identification per Alterman standards.
• Support high-risk electrical construction controls including LOTO, PPE, and restricted areas.
• Coordinate with supervision and clients to ensure site safety plans and rules are followed.
• Deliver toolbox talks and field safety training; verify worker readiness and competency.
• Assist with incident investigation, documentation, and lessons learned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
