Job summary

Harris seeks a Safety Supervisor to oversee health, safety and motor vehicle programs across projects, ensuring a safe work environment and strong safety culture. You will coordinate training, conduct inspections, and lead safety initiatives with project teams and subcontractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering/construction/safety and 4+ years in construction safety with OSHA knowledge; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, safety, or related
• 4+ years of construction/industrial occupational health and safety experience
• 4+ years of MS Office experience
• Proficient understanding of OSHA standards and guidelines
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising safety programs and incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training and orientations.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Issue permits (confined space entry, hot work) and monitor safety compliance.
• Coordinate safety with project management and subcontractors and lead toolbox talks.
• Actively participate in site safety meetings and reviews and support return-to-work planning.
