Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within the last 5 years.
• Experience supporting recruiting for senior leadership partners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication across messaging, phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in ATS and managing candidates through structured workflows.
• Expertise in sourcing and engaging passive candidates through multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic recruiting plans, including proactive sourcing across networks.
• Independently manage hiring strategy from requisition posting to offers.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates and hiring managers across levels.
• Support executive-level hiring needs and build functional expertise of business areas.
• Guide hiring managers through structured interview practices for consistency.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future needs.
• Participate in recruiting events to strengthen CarMax’s employer brand.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes.
