Symbotic is seeking a Senior Site Quality Engineer to lead quality at customer installation sites and collaborate across partners, suppliers and internal teams. The role emphasizes structured problem solving, cross-functional influence and site-based quality surveillance to ensure reliable field performance.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering with 10+ years in regulated manufacturing quality, plus experience with FMEA/DOE/MSA/GRR and PPAP, and strong project-management skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or related discipline with 10+ years in regulated manufacturing quality.
• Experience in quality management tools and methods: FMEA, DOE, MSA, GRR, 8D, PPAP.
• Strong quantitative/analytic skills and ability to translate findings into actions.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Development Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Strong process engineering fundamentals and ability to identify critical control points.
• Hands-on project management and teamwork with aggressive timelines.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and prioritize in dynamic environments.
• Experience using Control Plans, FMEA and PPAP or equivalent part approval.
• Analytical problem-solving (8D, A3) and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience in reliability methods and DFMEA/PFMEA.
• Familiar with SPC software (SAA/Minitab/JMP) and MATLAB; advanced Excel.
• Tenacity and ability to drive corrective action with global suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality leadership at customer installation sites and resolve issues using structured methods.
• Oversee up to 3 installation sites and train/oversight of local QC resources.
• Surveil installation partners to ensure compliant processes and quality parameters.
• Plan, execute and manage quality activities with suppliers and customer sites.
• Apply 8-D corrective actions for efficient root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Communicate issues across the operations team and drive closed-loop resolution.
• Support disposition of discrepant material and qualification of new materials/processes.
• Utilize Six Sigma and Lean methods to drive improvements.
• Mentor site quality personnel and share knowledge during technical discussions.
• Travel up to 75% regularly to client sites and project locations.
