Job summary

Qualifications

• knowledge of the theory and practice of the claim function.
• Strong knowledge of insurance contracts and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate large commercial property claims; review notices, contracts, and policies to verify coverage and deductibles; perform field inspections.
• Negotiate settlements, draft acceptance letters, and issue settlements with detailed cost estimates; manage reserve analyses.
• Collaborate with SIU, underwriting, risk improvement, and other teams; prepare risk reports and guide peers.
