Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Deputy Field Project Controls Manager to support a major Natrium project. The role reports to the Field Project Controls Manager and ensures effective execution of Project Controls programs across the project team and client interfaces.

Responsibilities include maturing information products, coordinating baselines, delivering presentations to management, and leading personnel development while ensuring rigorous change and risk management practices on this significant

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading cost engineering, estimating, control and analysis; scheduling development and control.
• Strong communication to influence and coach teams in risk and change management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with execution of the Project Controls program and related procedures.
• Assist Field PCM in maturing information products and establishing baselines.
• Prepare, coordinate, and present Project Controls materials to Bechtel and client management.
• Develop and train personnel; conduct performance reviews and counseling.
• Interview candidates and assist hiring decisions.
• Direct project control activities and support risk management processes.
• Integrate risk management with Change Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims.
