Job summary

UL Solutions in Illinois seeks an experienced leader to manage regional field operations for fire equipment services, ensuring inspections meet UL and NFPA standards while optimizing budgets and resource use. The role partners with Sales and Product Management to capture new opportunities and deliver compliant, high-value solutions.

You will oversee multi-region scheduling, asset management, and vendor relationships, providing technical leadership and escalation support.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading fire service apparatus and inspection programs.
• Ability to manage cross-functional and global projects across regions.
• Strong business acumen and experience planning budgets and pricing.
• Proven track record delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Experience with NFPA standards and UL requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional field operations, developing plans and budgets.
• Optimize resource allocation, workforce planning, and inspections.
• Promote UL Fire Equipment Services to customers and markets.
• Drive growth by identifying opportunities with Sales and Product Management.
• Oversee scheduling and service delivery across distributed teams.
• Provide technical leadership and NFPA compliance oversight.
• Manage commercial activities including pricing, bids, and contracts.
• Lead continuous improvement and uphold UL Code of Conduct.
